Acceptance of AI-Based Parenting Decision Support Systems

This study explores user acceptance, trust, privacy concerns, and usability perceptions of AI-based parenting decision support systems. Participants will evaluate different AI parenting support interface designs and provide their opinions about trust, usefulness, transparency, privacy, and willingness to use these systems. All responses are anonymous and will be used for academic research purposes only. Estimated duration: 5–8 minutes.

Research Purpose:

This study investigates how different AI-based parenting decision support system designs influence users' trust, perceived usefulness, privacy perceptions, and willingness to use AI parenting tools.

Research Questions:

RQ1: How do different AI parenting interface designs affect users' trust and acceptance of AI-based parenting decision support systems?

RQ2: How do explainability, privacy control, and community validation features influence users' willingness to use AI parenting tools?

The study compares four AI interface designs:
1. Basic AI Recommendation
2. Explainable AI (XAI)
3. Privacy-Focused AI Dashboard
4. Social and Community-Validated AI
